A British student left commuters baffled after setting up a makeshift café inside a Tube carriage to brew fresh drink free of charge.
Samuel Netherton brought a coffee machine and generator aboard before preparing flat whites as bemused travellers watched from their seats.
Bleary-eyed commuters were just as shocked as online viewers, with the strange pop-up having been watched over 612,900 times on TikTok since yesterday (22 July).

Samuel set up the makeshift coffee cart to practise his skills.
The 22-year-old dreams of opening his own coffee shop.
“I was starting to get the hang of it [making coffee] and I wanted to put my skills to the test,” he told Whats The Jam – Your daily pulse on what’s trending, creating, and moving the needle.
“So as any logical person would do, I bought a generator and set up a coffee shop on the tube.”
Brewing drinks inside a moving train allowed Samuel to experience what working in a real café could be like.

He was filmed preparing the drinks from his portable set-up before handing cups to passengers free of charge.
Samuel studies actuarial science at Queen’s University Belfast.
He moved to London in June for a one-year insurance internship as part of his placement year.

The student developed his passion for coffee-making in his spare time.
The student plans to continue ‘opening’ temporary shops in unexpected locations while he works towards finding the capital to securing a permanent location.
Samuel said: “Over the next while, I’m gonna be setting up coffee shops in random places until I can afford to start one.”
One person said: “This is absolutely insane.”
Another person added: “I bet that carriage smelled incredible with the fresh coffee.”
A third person joked: “London is not a real place.”
One viewer even tried to put in pre-orders for specific Tube lines.
“Please can you come on the northern line at 8:45,” they said.
Another viewer claimed to be the passenger in the clip receiving one of Samuel’s drinks.
