They might weigh less than a bar of soap – but these newborn kittens are stealing hearts across the internet.
An animal shelter has shared an adorable clip of some of its smallest feline arrivals.
In the short clip, shared with the caption ‘Some of our tiniest babies’, a group of newborn kittens can be seen curled up in blankets, their eyes barely open as they are cared for by shelter workers.

With their ears still folded and bodies small enough to cradle in the palm of a hand, the fragile furbabies are shown in the earliest days of life, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The footage offers a rare glimpse into the round-the-clock work of neonatal animal care – bottle feeding, gentle handling and constant monitoring – all to give the kittens their best shot at survival.
And it’s safe to say no one was ready for this level of cuteness from the San Diego Humane Society.
The video has gained traction on social media, where viewers are praising the shelter’s behind-the-scenes work and sharing messages of support.
One person said: They are so cute. I want them all.”
