A female construction worker has painted her digger in a pink Hello Kitty style in a bid to ‘satisfy girly heart’.
Mum-of-one Zhang has gone viral for her transformation of the industrial excavator.
She decided to ditch the ‘boring’ yellow vehicle to break stereotypes and bring ‘romance’ to the building site, reports What’s The Jam.

The 35-year-old, who is known as the Excavator Empress, shared the reveal with her 23,000 followers on Douyin.
It’s been adorned with Hello Kitty stickers and covered in candy-floss pink.
The mum, from Shadong province in China, began driving the digger in 2019.
Zhang decided to take on the renovation after feeling ‘drained’ with her daily life as a construction worker.
She had become ‘bored’ of seeing cold machinery and dusty worksites day in and day out.

And despite her husband being left ‘upset’ after seeing her customisation, she’s overjoyed with the outcome.
She’s now determined to show that it’s still possible to be a ‘girlie girl’ while doing the heavy labour job.
