A lucky couple have scooped a jackpot just three weeks before the birth of their first child.
John Stanhill and Victoria Oakley became parents after bagging £785,425 ($1 million) on the lottery.
They won the bumper cash prize on a 500X The Cash scratchcard.

“This just couldn’t have happened at a better time,” said Victoria.
“We won the lottery.
“And then we won the lottery again with our beautiful, healthy baby boy.
“All in three weeks’ time!”
John bought the winning ticket from Duval Exxon on Third Street North in Jacksonville Beach.

The 46-year-old added: “Our lottery win has been such a huge relief for us, we’ve been able to fully focus on being new parents by putting our financial worries at ease.
“We were able to start a college fund for our baby and plan on paying off student loans.
“We are over the moon with everything that’s happened!”

John and Victoria, who come from Jacksonville in Florida, turned up with their family dog Maya to claim the prize at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee on 11 June.
They chose the one-time payment option and received a total of £502,842 ($640,000).
The Jacksonville store received a bonus of £1,571 ($2,000) for selling the winning ticket, as reported by What’s The Jam.
