She stepped away from the kitchen to feed her dogs when Wendy, a foster cat, allegedly spiced up the pot as it simmered on the stove.
The unnamed owner said she was suspicious of the cat’s behaviour when she returned to the kitchen.

As a result, she checked the surveillance camera footage and realised what the foster feline had done, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A spokesperson for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Merced City in California, US, said: “Wendy is a foster failure that was caught on the kitchen cam – or kitten cam – adding ‘spice’ to her mom’s dinner.

“We should all be as thoughtful as Miss Wendy!”
