A rainbow baby toy has been slammed online thanks to the only colours used being various shades of grey and beige.
The sweet toy features eight stackable arched pieces, which together form a rainbow shape.
But instead of the usual red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, there is taupe, beiges, creams and greys.

Dubbed a ‘plainbow’ by scathing X users, after pictures of the toy garnered 2.9 million views, millennials are being blamed for the lack of colour in the aesthetic toy, reports What’s The Jam.
The post shared a pictured of the Jabadabado Stacking Rainbow for children 18 months+, with the caption: “‘Stacking Rainbow’ in all your classic fun rainbow colours! Including beige, taupe, sleet and misery!”
It racked up more than 200,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
One person said: “Can we stop with the millennial grey and beige.”
“HOW is that a rainbow?” another user wondered.

Someone else joked: “Send it to Molly Mae.”
Another user dubbed it a “Plainbow”, while someone else said: “I’m so worried for babies visual development.”
Another called it “gloom and doom” while someone else dubbed it a “Brutalist rainbow”.

“That has to be a filtered pic right? Right??” one shocked user wrote.
One person asked: “Why do they want to live in a color-less world?”
Someone else said: “Talk about a unique take on the rainbow—who knew beige and misery could make the list?”
The toy is sold by Swedish design company Jabadabado and describes itself as “synonymous with wooden toys and children’s room decor in a playful and trendy design”.
The toy is out of stock on the company website but retails in other online shops for around £25.
Other toys in the collection include a pull-along snail toy for the rainbow to sit on, and puzzles featuring equally muted tones.
Jam Press has contacted Jabadabado for comment.
