A rare hat worn by a Rebel Trooper in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back is expected to sell for up to £30,000 at auction.
The iconic prop, complete with its original “radio transmitter”, was worn by Norwegian extras during the legendary Battle of Hoth scenes.
The cotton cap comes with a quilted trim, velcro flaps and a chin strap.

The front peak measures 26cm wide, the back 13cm high, and the radio unit 7.5 x 5.5 x 4cm – small but mighty for a piece of movie history.
Also going under the hammer is an original production-used clapperboard from The Empire Strikes Back, marked for director Peter MacDonald and cameraman Geoff Glover, dated 3 April 1979.
The board still bears chalk markings and tape notes from the final day of shooting.
It measures 35.5 x 38.6cm and is expected to fetch £15,000, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Another standout from the galaxy far, far away is a complete Norwegian crew outfit worn by cameraman and electrical department member Greg Dupre.

The chilly set includes a blue ski jacket, trousers, a balaclava with Star Wars crew patch, a scarf, mittens, gloves, long johns, goggles and snow boots.
The jacket, made by Ski Peer, even features embroidered Darth Vader patches and Dupre’s handwritten name – with the lot tipped to reach £12,000.

Movie buffs will also be eyeing up other cinematic treasures, including a clapperboard from James Bond: Octopussy (1983), dated 28 October 1982 and expected to sell for £5,000.

And for sci-fi fans, there’s a scratch-built replica of the USCSS Nostromo and Ore Refinery from Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979), estimated to make £4,000.
All items are going under the hammer with Ewbank’s Auctioneers based in Woking, Surrey, on 14 November.
