Before he could look outside his window, a tree on the front of his property split in half and came crashing down onto the roof, causing the ceiling to collapse in.
He shared the terrifying moment on YouTube Shorts, racking up 149,000 views and 6,200 likes.
“I never imagined I’d find myself in this position, but life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges our way,” the JOB told What’s The Jam.
“Our lives [have been] turned upside down.”
In the clip, Damian can be seen running out to the front of his home to inspect the damage.

Another person added: “Scary doesn’t even cover it.”
Someone else said: “Good lord that’s a mess.”
Another user added: “That’s some crazy damage there.”
One person said: “That was a close one, I bet you’ll never forget the sound that made.”
The damage was caused by the thunderstorm aftermath of Hurricane Debby, which moved through Florida in August 2024.
For Damian, while his home in Sarasota is completely uninhabitable now, he’s glad he, along with his grandmother and four children, are safe.
Eight days after the incident Damian and his family were put in a hotel by their insurance.
He has now started a GoFundMe to help put his home back together, with $750 raised out of $3,000 (USD) (£2,295).
Damian added: “Miraculously, we all made it out safely, and I thank God every day for that.
“Instantly, the ceiling was on the floor – it was crazy.
“[There were] 10 other people inside and we’re all unharmed.
“But now, we’re faced with the daunting task of picking up the pieces.
“Our home is uninhabitable, and while insurance may eventually provide some relief, it will be a long process.”
