Monterrey-based content creator Oscar Hinojosa has a very particular set of skills – the kind that involves making movie heroes small enough to fit in your pocket.
Using nothing but Photoshop, a well-timed brownie, and the brainchild of one very tiny dog, Oscar has carved out a delightfully odd digital niche: creating “mini celebrities” from film, sport, and pop culture.
His inspiration? A pint-sized pup and a weekend experiment with a “special brownie.”

Oscar recalls staring at his miniature mutt and thinking, “What would I look like if I were that tiny?” One Photoshop session later, he had his answer.
Since then, he’s miniaturized everyone from Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future to a shrunken Will Smith fending off miniature monsters in I Am Legend.
“It’s nostalgic and fun,” he says.
“As long as people keep enjoying it, I’ll keep creating.” And enjoy it, they do.
Oscar’s micro-makeovers of Gladiator’s Russell Crowe wielding a thimble-sized sword, or Cillian Murphy brooding in a baby Peaky Blinders cap, have earned him thousands of likes and a few celebrity reposts.

Finneas (Billie Eilish’s brother) is a serial sharer, and Oscar suspects he might be using the mini edits to tease his sister.
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa gave one of his posts her stamp of approval – a moment he describes as “surreal.”
Each piece takes about 30 minutes now (down from an hour), all crafted manually with Adobe Photoshop – no AI, just old-school YouTube learning.

While some edits are a breeze, like a tiny Kevin from Home Alone defending his micro-house, others like his tennis-themed pieces or Cristiano Ronaldo lifting a mouse-sized trophy take time and a perfect shot.
And what’s the most common reaction? “People love it when I mini someone who’s already short.
I get comments like, ‘Where’s the edit?’” Oscar laughs.
With over 30,000 likes on some posts and a global fanbase, Oscar (also known as Phetru) proves that no dream is too small – literally.
