A pilot took his love for food to new heights – by flying 110 miles from London to Birmingham just to tuck into a mixed grill at his favourite restaurant.
Harman Singh jumped into a plane and flew 45 minutes after craving a signature dish from Soho Tavern.
After touching down, the 25-year-old grabbed a taxi straight to the restaurant to satisfy his cravings.

The plate features tandoori paneer, chilli paneer, vegetarian kebab strips and vegetarian chilli chicken foodie Harman says it was worth every mile.
He had left his home and took off from nearby Denham Aerodrome, on the outskirts of Uxbridge, west London.
Harman spent just two hours in Birmingham before flying home.
He again left from Birmingham International Airport where he’d landed.
“It’s my favourite restaurant,” Harman told What’s the Jam.

“I love the mixed grill there and I was craving one.
“I love flying and I’m a massive foodie so I thought I’d combine both hobbies.
“It was worth the trip.”

The civil servant learned to fly two years ago and flies a light aircraft.
Harman shared a clip of his journey on social media where it racked up more than 2,000 likes.
