A set of Harry Potter books given by JK Rowling to a babysitter are due to fetch £20,000.
They are of the four of the famous schoolboy wizard books.
The collection includes the Philosopher’s Stone, the Chamber of Secrets, the Prisoner of Azkaban and the Half-Blood Prince.

They were the first three of the seven books plus the sixth
The books are written to ‘Sven’ and are signed ‘Jo’.
JK Rowling – who’s full name is Joanne Rowling – has three children Jessica, 32, David, 22 and 20-year-old Mackenzie.
When she was a writer living in Edinburgh after having her first daughter, she relied on close friends. to babysit, as reported on What’s The Jam.

She gave these books to the son of one of those pals, it is understood.

He became one the first people to hear the Harry Potter stories.
The four books are being sold by The Auction Room London, in Twickenham, south London tomorrow (30 Sept).
A spokesperson said: “Early in her career as a writer in Edinburgh, JK Rowling relied on close friends to help with babysitting her eldest daughter.

“From the age of eight, the vendor has been known to JK Rowling and was one of the very first to hear the Harry Potter stories.
The estimate for the sale price when they go under the hammer is between £15,000 and £20,000.
The books have sold over 600 million copies worldwide.
They were then turned into movies and have earned the author an estimated wealth of £945m.
