Commuters can now bring the London Underground into their living rooms – but it’ll cost them a small fortune.

Tube-inspired furniture has hit the market, with prices soaring above £3,000.

The quirky range lets punters pick their favourite seat pattern and have it upholstered onto sofas, chairs and footstools.

Top of the line is the Farringdon Three Seat Sofa – a moquette-covered settee with a foam back, feather-wrapped cushions, hardwood feet and a beech frame.

And it will set you back a whopping £3,200, as reported by What’s The Jam.

The Farringdon Armchair costs £1,900, while the Paddington Armchair – with a hardwood frame, sprung back and fixed seat – comes in at £1,350.

For those after a smaller slice of the action, a hinged ottoman is on sale for £500, and weary travellers can even kick off their shoes and rest up on a Moquette Pouffe – available in all different styles.

The collection is being flogged by the London Transport Museum, with a 10-year guarantee on certain items.

A spokesperson for the museum said: “Transform your home with our furniture collection, made to order in the UK and upholstered with the same moquette fabric used on London’s buses, trains and tubes.

“Moquette upholstered seating which became commonplace on the London Transport System in the early 1920s is now an instantly recognisable icon of your journey throughout the capital city.

“New designs are introduced to commemorate events, designed by leading artists and made to last.
