A man is flogging an ‘extinct’ supermarket carrier bag for £50 on Facebook Marketplace.

Remember Netto?

Netto soon became a beloved staple, with many people hailing it as their go-to store for bargains.

But disaster struck in 2016 after the company’s trading days came to a halt.

Despite the chain still thriving in many German towns, its ties to the UK have been severed.
