The Brazilian used it in Portugal where it was registered under the name of his close friend Antonio Carlos de Almeida Braga due to legal restrictions surrounding foreign nationals.

But the car which has done 46,268 miles still has Senna’s signature on the back of the driver’s seat, as reported by Whats The Jam.
Its listing says: “Finished in silver metallic with a black power-retractable soft top over a black leather interior, it is offered by the seller in Portugal with owner’s booklets, restoration documentation, service records, registration paperwork, and keys.
“The 3.2-generation 911 Carrera was widely renowned for its engaging driving experience, and even the Formula One legend himself, Ayrton Senna, recognized it.

“Known for his excellence in Formula One during his career from 1984 to 1994, Senna won three World Championship titles and was unmistakably one of the greatest drivers in motorsports history.

“During his off-seasons, he drove this specific 911 during his visits to Portugal.
“The car was originally put into service on November 11, 1987.

“Following Signor Braga’s stewardship, the car was modified with wider turbo-style rear fenders, yellow paint, and a spoiler.

“In a full-circle turn of events, the car has since painstakingly reverted back to its original specifications under the direction of Love My Car in Amares, Portugal between June and December 2024.
“The process involved partial disassembly and the fitment of new, original-spec fenders, front and rear, rocker panels, bonnet, and bumpers.

“The body was stripped to bare metal in preparation for a fresh coat of the original silver metallic.
“The detail-oriented restoration adhered to Porsche assembly manual standards throughout.
“Even the rubber seals were replaced with OEM parts.
“Senna’s signature remains on the back of the driver seat, and the documentation that accompanies the car tells its complete, and remarkable, story.
“In addition, the vehicle appears after the credits in the 2010 Netflix documentary Senna.
“Chassis WP0ZZZ91ZJS150318 is a truly special 911 with unmatched ownership provenance.

“It will now change hands to its next passionate owner.”
It is being auctioned by SBX Cars with a current highest bid of £56,000.
The auction ends on July 31 in Braga, Portugal.
Senna died in 1994, aged 34, after a crash during the San Marino Grand Prix.
He won three F1 world championships.
