A theme park once filled with laughter and joy now stands abandoned frozen in time.
Explorer Ben Stevens captured images showing the variety of rides that have been left to rot during a visit to the site.
The 30-year-old travelled alone to the park, named Test Track, and described the area like something out of an apocalypse film with an eerie atmosphere.

“I went to the park alone last week,” Ben, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, told What’s The Jam.
“It was very hot so it was like walking around a desert.
“It was like something from an apocalypse film as the rides all sit unused and all the go carts are just sitting there.”
The theme park is located in Fort Myers, Florida, and has been abandoned since 2019, after reportedly closing due to financial issues.
Photographs captured by Ben show go karts, a pirate ship and a drop tower, never to be used.

He also discovered a water ride, a swinging chair ride and a runaway train.
Using a drone camera, the explorer was also able to capture what the park looks like from above in a fascinating shot.
Ben also mentioned that the rides have sadly begun to deteriorate but to him this only added to the beauty of the site.

He said: “I liked seeing all the rides rotting away, that was probably my favourite part about my visit.
“It’s weird how it used to be such a fun-filled place and now it’s in silence.
“It’s been abandoned since 2019 when it ran out of money.”
Ben has travelled all across the world pursuing his passion of exploring abandoned Locations.
He has visited Japan, the UK and various different states across North America.
Ben added: “I love exploring because it’s like your own personal museum that no one else has really been inside.”
