Foodies have mocked Gordon Ramsay’s £12 breakfast roll for missing a key ingredient.

The sandwich, which is being served at the TV chef’s Mayfair restaurant, consists of a toasted brioche bun, Cumberland sausage, egg and streaky bacon.

“The perfect way to start your day,” Gordon posted under a video of the bap on his Instagram account.

It was also shared by the restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill.

But while the sandwich might look appealing, reviewers are all saying the same thing, as reported by What’s The Jam.

“Gordon that bun is dry – where’s the sauce at?” one person wrote.

“That looks so dry!” said another enraged user.

“This is the first time I see one of your food creations and, in true restaurateur fashion, want to step into the kitchen and improve it,” remarked one user.

Others were impressed by the visual, commenting that it looked “scrummy” and “delicious”.

Foodie fans took to the internet to debate the Frenchie Burger, which was created to celebrate the summer games across the Channel.

The new dish was served across the UK in the celebrity chef’s chain restaurant Gordon Ramsay Street Burger.

Gordon posted a promotional video on his Instagram unveiling the latest edition, saying: “Celebrate the Olympics with my new Frenchie burger at @‌gordonramsaystreetburger !! With Roquefort cheese, grilled red onions, two smashed patties, garlic aioli and shoestring fries!!”

But the cheesy burger, which cost £18, sparked controversy among his followers.

As one said: “That burger is wrong on so many levels.”

Some fans have even complained that it’s too difficult to eat.

They said: “Burgers should be wider, not taller. How the f*** are you supposed to eat that?”

Another added: “Not gonna lie. I tried this two days ago. It was the worst burger I have ever had.”
