A branch of McDonald‘s could be the most festive ever after it was turned into a huge Christmas present.
The fast food joint has a large illuminated bow on the roof.
As we enter the season of goodwill, locals were invited to pick up a free burger menu at the McDrive.
The venue then officially opened its doors at 3 pm on Tuesday (25 Nov).

The McDonald’s owner is also offering free daily giveaways during December to mark the Christmas holidays.
The restaurant opened in the Dutch town of Vriezenveen, close to the border with Germany.
It has been designed in accordance with the company’s sustainable Sunny Side Up concept, which focuses on natural materials and a light, fresh atmosphere.
The interior features 100% FSC- and PEFC-certified wood, circular floor tiles and ceilings, and decor made from recycled materials.

The building is equipped with waterless urinals and energy-efficient systems, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Even the traffic signs surrounding the building are made of rice husks, a recyclable and environmentally-friendly alternative to aluminium.
The restaurant is managed by Robin Veldt, an experienced franchisee with 23 years’ experience at McDonald’s.

The new venue marks the opening of his twelfth store.
Veldt, who was named Franchisee of the Year in 2022, said: “My ambition is to help my people and our organisation grow.
“Nothing is more satisfying than seeing your employees develop.”
He added: “The new restaurant is where sustainable building and circular thinking truly become visible.”
The new McDonald’s store has signed a litter agreement with the local council.
Every day, one employee will be assigned to clean up rubbish within a 100-metre radius of the building to keep the area clean and tidy.
Visitors can enjoy the full McDonald’s selection, from Big Mac meals to vegetarian alternatives.
There’s also a McCafé for coffee, pastries, and small treats.
