A new mum has been slated online after revealing that she batch cooked meals for her husband – just before giving birth.
Oshiho, as she is known online, shared how she whipped up 30 days’ worth of lunch boxes for her partner to enjoy after their child’s arrival.
Oshiho reportedly made the meals because she was going to stay and recover at her parents’ home after the delivery.

She worried about him eating well while she was away, according to local media.
“I made the first dinner bento for my husband [for him to enjoy] when he returned home after [I was] giving birth,” the Japanese woman said.
“It looks like a lunch box for men but please bear with it for a month, husband.”
But people online are not impressed, with many pointing out that her hubby could just make his own lunch.
“Is your husband unable to cook for himself?,” said one person.

Someone else said: “I thought the same thing!! Is this grown man (who will soon be a father) unable to take care of himself!! Is he going to be okay!? That was one of the thoughts. I’m amazing for being so devoted to my husband!! It’s an interesting post.”
Another person added: “It’s scary what happens after you start raising children. Maybe it would have been better if they had given him some time to practice.”
Someone else said: “I can’t believe I was told this by a stranger.”

Someone else said: “I know I’m being nosy, but maybe you’re trying too hard since you’re about to give birth… your husband is an adult, so let him manage his own meals. For the sake of the future.”
Another person added: “Is your husband not very good at housework? Is your husband still a minor? It’s like she’s raising two babies, and it’s painful to watch.”
Oshiho welcomed a son after a “painless birth’ on 14 May with her batch cooking incident going viral in June.
She says the “scandal caused controversy” but she enjoys “bragging about her husband”, as reported by What’s The Jam.
