Tony Hawk’s legendary ‘900’ skateboard has gone up for auction – and it’s expected to sell for $700,000.
The skateboarding legend made history in 1999 when he pulled off the unthinkable stunt.
He performed a two-and-a-half-minute mid-air spin during the X Games in Colorado, US.

Now, the board he used for that iconic moment is up for sale, complete with scuff marks, wear and grip tape all still intact, reports What’s The Jam.

The trick, which he landed on his 12th attempt, changed the future of skateboarding forever and cemented his status as an icon.
It’s been personally signed by Hawk and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Tony Hawk Foundation, which supports public skateparks in deprived areas.
The auction is set to take place in Los Angeles on 23 September 2025 –but bidding is already underway.

A Julien’s Auctions spokesperson said: “This skateboard represents not just a milestone in sports, but a cultural moment that inspired generations.”
