A teenager had to be rescued by firefighters after his “pals” shut him in a parcel locker for a laugh.
The three lads were outside a supermarket on Friday (16 Aug) evening when they noticed the DHL boxes.
For a giggle, two of the boys – believed to be 13 or 14 years old – decided to stuff their friend into an XL-sized locker.

After cramming the 14-year-old lad into the tight space, they handed him a drink and shut the door.
But their chuckles quickly turned to concern when they realised they couldn’t open it again.
The fire brigade was called to the scene in Dortmund, Germany.
The first responders tried to free the trapped teen using heavy equipment.
But they still couldn’t open the locker, which measures just 45 x 77 x 61 cm (18 x 30 x 24 in).

A 66-year-old responder, surnamed Heinz, told local media: “A crowd quickly gathered around the locker, but no one could open the door.
“We even tried with a heavy crowbar and a pair of pliers.”
It wasn’t until 9.41pm that the firefighters finally managed to rip the locker door from its hinges using a hydraulic spreader.

The first thing they saw emerge from the space was the lad’s trainers, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Luckily, the boy, who is about 1.5 m (4’ 11”) tall, jumped out uninjured.
Neighbouring lockers were also damaged in the process of freeing him.
It’s not clear if the teens or their parents will be made to pay for the damage caused.
