A group of football players have shaved their heads in solidarity with their coach who is battling cancer.

Markus Heman, the captain of the Swedish Kalmar AIK FK football team, was recently diagnosed with the disease and has been losing his hair from chemotherapy.

In a bid to show their support, his entire team of players have decided to get rid too.

The Swedish team’s official Instagram page published a video of the squad’s touching move, as reported by What’s The Jam.

In the clip, they can all be seen one by one, sat on the same chair, shaving their heads with a razor.

The captain then walks in with a wrap around his head.

Shocked and tearful, he takes it off and rubs his eyes before hugging the entire team.

He continues to walk around the room, rubbing his eyes with the hair wrap, as players come up and hug him.
