A shark has been spotted in the water close to a popular beach resort.

Despite the creature staying below the surface of the water, it appeared very near to the coast line.

In a video, people can be seen sitting on the white sands of the beach a short distance away from the shark.

The camera pans down to clear, blue waters where a shadow is clearly visible underneath the surface.

A tail, belonging to a bull shark, can be seen gently swaying from side to side.

The video then shows both the shark swimming along, and the beach in the distance, highlighting how close the animal is to land.
