An iconic Lamborghini Diablo is tipped to sell for £400,000.

The 90s supercar is loved by the rich and famous.

It was regarded as a “street-legal race car.”
US President Donald Trump and music stars Rod Stewart and Jay Kay have all owned one.

The SE30 model going under the hammer was made in 1994.

It was at the height of the production of the flash motor – renowned for its triangular shape.

The purple supercar was one of only 150 of its kind made.

It can do 200mph and has just 8,015 miles on the clock.

It is being sold by RM Sotheby’s in Los Angeles, California, US.

There is no guide price but the auctioneers have sold similar models for £400,000, as reported on Whats The Jam.

A spokesperson said: “Launched to celebrate Lamborghini’s thirtieth anniversary in 1993, the Diablo SE30 was marketed by Lamborghini as a street-legal race car.

“Seeing not only a boost in power but also a reduction in weight over its siblings, making for arguably the most exciting car in the company’s illustrious history.

“Mechanically, the SE30 retained Lamborghini’s legendary V12 but featured a revised fuel system, magnesium intake manifolds, and a free-flow exhaust.

“That combined to increase output to 525 horsepower.

“Unlike the Diablo VT, the SE30 was a raw, rear-wheel-drive machine.

“Driver-adjustable sway bars controlled by a cabin-mounted switch transitioned the SE30 from firm to race-stiff.

“Lamborghini turned to carbon fibre for many of the SE30’s body panels, and the company used race-specification brakes to bring its lighter, faster Diablo to a halt.”
