Kari Kjørsvik Berge, who filmed it, had to hide behind a display stand after the large moose, also known as an elk, headed straight for her.

The apparently spooked animal then continued running towards a busy intersection.
But the authorities confirmed they managed to track it down unharmed and led it back to the forest.
The encounter took place in the town of Røros, located north of the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
Kari Kjørsvik Berge shared on her TikTok and Instagram pages with the message: “Make way.

Another remarked: “God forgive a moose who wants to go shopping.”

Jamie quipped: “There’s a moose loose aboot this hoose.”
Sean cheekily said, “I see my mother-in-law is out for her morning jog.”
The authorities later confirmed that they tracked down the wayward moose and managed to lead it back to its natural habitat last Saturday (14 Jun).
Moose expert Erling Johan Solberg said: “Sometimes something can happen and the moose becomes scared and runs in the wrong direction, ending up in a place where it shouldn’t be.
“If you find yourself close to one, the best thing to do is just retreat.”
