A quick-thinking singer saved a fan after she was set ablaze by pyrotechnics during a concert.
The young woman, overcome with emotions, jumped onto the stage to greet the group Los Ávila.
However, she was showered by a jet of sparks from a show firework.

The clip shows the woman taking to the stage while flames appear to burn the hem of her dress, her shoulder and hair.
She runs over to singer Jorge Avila in distress, flapping her arms and patting down her burning skin.
The vocalist helps her to extinguish the flames as a puff of smoke rises from her burned clothes.
She turns to the singer with a smile as the video comes to an end.
The woman was unharmed by the blaze and soon returned to her spot in the crowd to watch the rest of the show.

The mishap took place at a concert in Viesca located west of Monterrey in Mexico on Saturday (3 Aug), as reported by What’s the Jam.
One local said: “Poor girl, thank God nothing happened to her.”
Guadalupe remarked: “The smoke coming off that girl…”

Oscar commented: “Her hair got fried but she was in high spirits, very happy young lady.”
Ramon said: “They should have had some buckets of water there.”
Los Ávila are a traditional Mexican band from San Luis Potosí with hits such as ‘Tonto mi corazón’, ‘Ni más rico ni más pobre’, and ‘Por un Caminito’, among others.
