A Brit holidaymaker has been mocked over his “pathetic” attempt at a Benidorm belly buster challenge.

Jak Aitcheson (corr) was on a lads’ holiday when he tried the monster fry-up.

It consists of four sausages, four slices of bacon, four fried eggs and four hash browns.

Plus four pieces of toast and fried bread, six tomatoes, half a large tin of baked beans and 10 mushrooms.

The 2,760-calorie breakfast costs just €9 (£7.70) but has to be eaten in 20 minutes.

Jak, of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, looked happy and relaxed before tucking into it in Brit bar Uncle Ron’s in the Spanish resort on Sunday (6 Jul).

But he was then slumped in his chair, looking defeated and dejected afterwards, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Fellow Brits were quick to point out that he’d barely made a dent in his brekky.

Tom asked: “What did he eat? The butter off the toast?”

Brian said, “Jak, pathetic.

“Stick to your warm milk and a rusk from now on.”

Aidan said, “Bet that third bean pushed him over the edge.”

Mark asked: “Did he just shuffle some beans around?”

Matt joked: “He finished with more food than he started with.”

Coz said, “I’ve seen seagulls dive-bombing for chips that take larger amounts.”

Al remarked: “Deffo should stick to Coco Pops.”

And Sam said: “Jak’s folded up like a deckchair after eating half a bread slice.”

Thankfully for Jak, at least one person rushed to his defence.

Jove said: “In all fairness, the fried bread, chips, and huge amount of toast would stop most in their tracks.”

Jak seemed to take the ribbing in good spirits.

He claimed he’d actually nodded off mid-challenge and that his pal Dean had sneakily piled his leftovers onto his plate.

He said: “I’ve still not been to sleep since Wednesday night, lost about two stone, and I’m famous on the strip for eating three beans.”
