The world’s oldest boy band has been formed with a combined age of 505.
The quintet stars Normandy heroes Ken Hay, 100, Henry Rice, 99, and Jim Grant, 100.
They are joined by fellow World War II veterans Len Oldham, 106, and Harry Bass, 100.

They were videoed breaking into an impromptu rendition of Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again after a Remembrance service.
It happened in Upminster, Essex.
“It was at a Remembrance lunch following the morning memorial parades,” one of the organisers John Watson, told What’s The Jam.
“It led to an impromptu formation of the world’s oldest boy band.

“Singers Annie Riley and Le’arna Castle got the boys centre stage.
“A cumulative age of 505 years singing away and cracking jokes.
“It left the other guests with memories that will live forever.

“It was great company, excellent food, and first class service.
“We’ve been arranging a lunch for a few years and have veterans from the Second World War right through to the Falklands, Northern Ireland and Afghanistan.”
