Under-fire Gino D’Acampo appears to be charging Geordies more than Londoners for the same Christmas Day meal at his restaurants.
The TV chef has Italian eateries in London, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.
He is serving up three-course meals on Christmas Day.

Customers get a glass of champagne and a canapé on arrival.
Starters include Calamari Fritti – crispy fried squid with courgette and red pepper – and Minestrone soup.
Also on offer is Carpaccio Di Manzo – sliced beef served with wild rocket.

Mains being cooked up include Ravioli Con Gamberi Rossi – filled pasta with prawns and garlic.
Or Tacchino Saltimbocca – a turkey escalope wrapped in Parma ham.

The dessert menu has Tiramisu and Panna Cotta on it.
But despite being exactly the same, the price per head is different in different cities, according to D’Acampo’s website, as reported on What’s The Jam.

One customer said, “It seems very odd that it appears diners will be charged different amounts depending on where they go.

“The menus are literally exactly the same.”
In Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds, it costs £100 per person.
In London it is £135 but in Newcastle it is £150.
D’Acamp, 49, has cooked on shows like This Morning.
He was also in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! In 2009, and was also a regular on Celebrity Juice.
The telly cook has faced allegations of sexually inappropriate behaviour.
Yesterday (20 Nov), it was revealed he is facing fresh claims of alleged bullying.
He denies all the allegations against him.
D’Acampo has been approached for comment.
