A Tommy Shelby lookalike has been offered £10,000 to appear at an event amid the Peaky Blinders movie hype.
Dad-of-two, Scott Blower, has been making appearances as the iconic character – played by Cillian Murphy – for 11 years.
The 52-year-old never planned to get into the world of lookalike work until a barmaid at his local pub said he looked like Murphy, 48.

Since then, the full-time installation manager has donned the flat cap and suit in his unique side gig.
The impersonator has cashed in ever since the BBC post-WW1 drama started in 2013.
He thought about retiring the Tommy Shelby persona when the series came to an end in 2022.
However, with the film now in the offing, his phone has been blowing up more than ever.
Ahead of the movie, currently being filmed, the doppelganger has been amazed by offers to appear as the Brummie gangster, Tommy, again.

Scott, of Manchester, told What’s The Jam: “Since the movie was confirmed, I’ve had loads of offers.
“From commercials to music videos, the list is endless.
“I got offered £10,000 for an event over in South Korea.

“Unfortunately, I had to decline the offer as I currently don’t have the time to do events like that.
“Wherever I am in the world, I get stopped by people thinking I’m Cillian.
“Even after I say no, they still ask for a picture.
“A lot of my work has been charity events with the odd TV appearances here and there.
“I even used to get my suits for free to use them for the Tommy Shelby work.”
Murphy won an Oscar last year for his leading role in the film, Oppenheimer.
