A signed racing suit from one of driving legend Michael Schumacher’s last wins has sold for nearly £100,000.
The red Ferrari suit was allocated to the German champ for the 2006 Italian Grand Prix.
He qualified in second but ended up winning ahead of Kimi Räikkönen who drove a McLaren-Mercedes.

The victory was his penultimate behind the wheel of a Ferrari Formula One car.
After the race, Schumacher announced his retirement from Formula One and that he would stop racing at the end of that season.
The suit was sold for £96,000 – nearly five times its low pre-sale estimate, as reported by Whats The Jam.

It was part of a sale that included the collection of former team owner and journalist Rob Walker.
A 1997 Jacques Villeneuve Williams Formula 1 Sparco racing suit sold for £16,800.

And a 2025 Lando Norris McLaren Formula 1 Alpinestars racing suit went for £25,200.
They were all sold by RM Sotheby’s, in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Schumacher won a record-setting seven Formula One World Drivers’ Championship titles, tied by Lewis Hamilton in 2020, and at the time of his retirement held the records for most wins, pole positions and podium finishes.

He still retains the record for the most laps in the fastest time.
