“Why would you want to pay to hear it again?
“That’s coming from a fellow Geordie.”
Lee Wilson made light of Gazza reportedly turning up in the hunt for murderer Raoul Moat in 2010.
He said: “Shall I bring my fishing rod and a few cans?”
Peter Durrant added: “Why?”
It is being run by The Local Events Company, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A spokesperson said: “Join us for what is set to be an incredible evening with Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne.
“You will get the opportunity to hear him talk openly and candidly about his incredible career along with the trials and tribulations he faced in his personal life.
There are also VIP tables for the event.
In an episode of The Office, Brent, played by Ricky Gervais, talks about not just being focused near Slough, where the show was based.
He made light of other neighbouring towns.
He said: “There’s Reading, Aldershot, Bracknell, you know, I’ve got Didcot, Yateley…You know… Winnersh.”
Ali G, aka Sacha Baron Cohen, once slammed the proposed closure of the ice rink in Bracknell.
