Nigella Lawson wants to bring back a 70s canapé for Christmas.
The TV cook queen says Brits should whip up Devilled Eggs this yuletide.
The festive finger food were popular 50 to 60 years ago.
The appetizers are made from hard-boiled eggs, where the yolk is scooped out.

They are then mixed with mayonnaise and mustard and then refilled into the whites.
Nigella, 65, said: “Devilled Eggs are like cocktail sausages in that however many you make, they will always, always get eaten.
“This is why they are such excellent party food.
“And a most deserving Recipe Of The Day.”

But fans were mixed and some said they are too dated, as reported on What’s The Jam.
Jennie Langdon joked: “Wow, this takes me back.”
Deb Thomas added: “Used to make these years ago.

“Used to use a little Branston pickle in the yokes.
“Had forgotten they existed.”
“Going to resurrect them this time using my home made tomatillo chutney.
“I don’t have Tabasco.”
Mike added: “Devilled eggs.
“Very 70’s but still tastes great.”
Another added: “So retro, love it.”
Shelby Harris said: “These look so good.”
Nigella added: “I cannot begin to tell you how good these are.
“There’s not much that can get me squeezing a fancy-nozzled icing bag, but I can’t get enough of these.
“And nor can those I make them for.
“Yes, they are retro, but they are no culinary exercise in irony.
“And while they are a bit fiddly to make, they’re not hard, and they are immensely rewarding.”
In April last year, Nigella tried to revive another 70s dish – the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake.
Nigella is renowned for wacky meals like caramel on potatoes and Marmite on spaghetti.
Four years ago, she caused a stir by calling a ‘microwave’ a ‘mee-cro-wah-vay.’
