Mean bosses at a seaside hotel have banned guests from feeding a local cat.
A snooty sign has been placed on the lobby of the three-star Hampton by Hilton.
Some staying at the hotel – where rooms cost up to £186-per-night – were left baffled by rule.

The sign reads: “The Tabby Cat.
“Please don’t feed the cat, the cat knows what it’s doing.
“The cat has a loving home near to the hotel, we are also quite sure we aren’t the only hotel it visits.
“We know he’s cute, we know it’s hard, he can also sense your weakness. Thank you for your assistance.”
One member of staff said some workers had given the moggy titbits but were also told to stop.

The hotel, in New South Promenade, Blackpool was previously dog-friendly.

But pets are no longer allowed to stay there..
One guest Dylan John, 48, who stayed at the hotel with his wife and two children.

He told What’s The Jam: “I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels.
“And I have never seen a sign at the door telling me not to feed a local cat.
“You’re not supposed to feed the seagulls in Blackpool and now local cats.
“It’s bonkers.”
He added: “There are some nice dishes on the menu so the cat must have been spoilt rotten.
Hilton has been approached for comment.
