Vauxhall has unveiled its first-ever electric van with a built-in tea station – meaning tradies will never have to rely on a dodgy cuppa again.
The new VivaroElectric-TEAA comes fully kitted out with an on-board brewing setup, including an electric kettle, fridge, sink and even a sugar dispenser, while still leaving plenty of space for tools and materials.
Powered by a 75kWh battery, the van boasts a 219-mile range and can charge from 5% to 80% in just 45 minutes, as reported by Whats The Jam.

The quirky concept was created after Vauxhall research revealed that 49% of tradespeople say a decent hot drink can “make their day”.
The study also found workers chug three to four cups of tea a day on average.
While 71% appreciate a customer-made brew, a huge 93% admitted they’d prefer to make their own on the go if they could.

The research even uncovered the formula for the perfect “builder’s tea”:
– Yorkshire Tea is the preferred brand, chosen by 37%
– 76% add the tea bag before milk
– Ideal brew time: 1 minute 53 seconds
– Gently squeeze the bag and remove
– Two teaspoons of sugar for 72% of tradies
– Semi-skimmed milk is the top choice
– Should be served warm, not boiling — just cool enough to sip
– And for the finishing touch, 34% pair it with a chocolate digestive

Vauxhall Managing Director Steve Catlin said: “With 90% of tradespeople saying a good hot drink has a positive impact on their day, we wanted to create the ultimate tea-making solution for the thirsty tradespeople of Britain.
“The Vivaro Electric-TEA provides all the tools needed for the perfect brew from the comfort of their own van. It’s time we put an end to poorly made cuppas and give tradespeople the right tool for the job.”
