A Ron Weasley lookalike caused a ruckus at the Harry Potter studio tours during a recent visit – as “shocked” fans mistook him for Rupert Grint.
Lewis Parker is no stranger to attention thanks to his uncanny resemblance to the actor who played one of the main characters in all eight of the famous wizarding films.
Earlier this year, the 34-year-old made headlines for his ‘EXPENSIVE PETROLEUM’ video filmed at a petrol station, which went viral online.

He frequently posts skits dressed as the ginger wizard, but in a recent visit to the Warner Bros Studios Tour’s new ‘Hogwarts in the Snow’ feature, he was instantly mistaken for the famous actor who played Ron.
Their likeness was first noted 15 years ago, and he is often mistaken for Ed Sheeran, a fellow lookalike.
“People get a bit star-struck,” Lewis, a stonemason from Spalding, Lincolnshire, told What’s The Jam.

“Others can’t believe the likeness.”
Lewis recently indulged his penchant for masquerading as Ron by visiting the Warner Bros studio, after receiving an invitation to their ‘Yule Ball’ – which features in the fourth movie in the franchise.

There, he was immediately mistaken for the actor.
Lewis said: “I was expecting double takes, shocked faces and lots of photos and selfies – and that’s exactly what happened.
“Even some of the staff commented on my likeness, and some people actually had to ask if I was Rupert.”

The celeb lookalike also shared a video of himself at the event, dressed as Ron Weasley, complete with a woollen ‘R’ jumper, often seen on the character during the festive months in the movies.
The video went viral, with 300,000 views.
One person said: “RON?!??”
Another person wrote: “I love you, Ron Weasley.”

One user joked: “Where is Harry?”
Luci commented: “You’re going to be a Hogwarts professor.”
Another user joked: “Ron couldn’t get through the wall this time.”

Lewis’ resemblance to Rupert Grint has allowed him to appear on TV shows and rub shoulders with the rich and famous, recently appearing on The Last Leg.
The lookalike says that he has yet to meet Rupert Grint, but says it’s a personal wish of his.
The father-of-two said: “ I have wished to meet Rupert for a long time now.
“I heard he is aware of my existence, but sadly, I never had the chance to cross paths.
“I would just like the opportunity to meet him, say hi and see his reaction to our likeness.

“I hope he likes what I do on social media, and if he ever needs a stand-in, body double or decoy, I’m there!”
Despite the opportunities his appearance has given him, Lewis says that the attention can be overwhelming.
He said: “Sometimes it isn’t always positive – some men call me Ron or Ed Sheeran as if its an insult.
“I tell them what I do, then they don’t believe me.
“So that does get annoying at times.”
