A new Loch Ness Monster sighting has been recorded after the long-necked creature was spotted protruding from the waves.
It appeared to be swimming against the direction of the current near Urquhart Castle on the banks of the loch on Wednesday (16 Jul).
A spokesperson for the Loch Ness Centre, which keeps a log of all sightings, said the footage was “thought provoking”, as reported by What’s The Jam.

They said: “It could have been a seal which do appear in Loch Ness from time to time.
“Or a tree caught in the castle’s outlet pipe.
“Either way the video leaves you wondering what else might be beneath the surface.”
It is not the first time Nessie has been sighted this year.
In May, Colin Veacock was at Urquhart Bay and saw what he thought was a buoy vanish.

At the time he said: “I thought I could see something but it kept disappearing.
“I kept losing sight of it.
“It appeared from nowhere and vanished in a similar way.

“When a small motorboat came along the thing disappeared.
“Once the boat had passed, the long thing suddenly popped up out of nowhere.”
