A group of ghost hunters have been left creeped out after hearing an unexplainable male voice while visiting the UK’s ‘most haunted’ mansion.
Tony Ferguson ain’t afraid of no ghosts.
But his recent experience at a former UK nightclub, Antwerp Mansion, based in Manchester, UK, has left him petrified.

The 40-year-old, who doubles as a personal trainer, visited the location along with fellow ghost hunters Jon and Lindsay, who run the page Exploring the Afterlife, and Simon from GS Exploring with Ghosts.

The group set up locked off cameras and called out a series of questions to see if there were any paranormal spirits lurking – and they got a reply from a very angry man.
“In the ballroom upstairs, I heard a disembodied ghostly voice on a couple of occasions,” he told What’s The Jam.
“A male voice told us to ‘get out’ and responded with ‘no’ when Lindsay asked how many spirits were in the dungeon with us.
“Bear, who is the owner’s dog, was following us around, but as we got to the basement, his tail went down and he refused to come with us.

“We thought it was odd, considering he had been with us all night.
“They say animals have a very good sense of the afterlife and spirits, which we found with Bear.
“While in the basement, we heard and captured many other voices and what sounded like a dragging sound.

“The dungeon area felt very uncomfortable and off.
“The whole atmosphere was heavy, didn’t feel very nice and changed from when we were on the upper levels.”
Tony, from Lymington, Hants, said there were a lot of things that happened which cannot be explained.
He hopes to return again to capture more evidence – and hopefully build a connection with whatever paranormal spirit resides in the building.
It’s been placed at the top of his list for the “most haunted location” in the UK and he urges people to visit there this Halloween.
Antwerp Mansion closed in 2018 after a long-standing battle with the local council over planning permission.
It was originally built in 1840 and is now open for paranormal investigations, as well as being used as a film and photography studio.
Tony, along with his team, recently visited Ridge Lea Asylum, where they saw dark shadows and heard creepy laughter, which left a member of the group, Jon, feeling so unwell that he had to leave.
