West Ham fans have given the new £7.70 nachos served up at the London Stadium the red card.

The Premier League club is offering a small portion of about 15 Doritos with a bright yellow cheese sauce.

They were on sale before their 3-1 defeat to champions Man City on Saturday (31 Aug).

But supporters were less than impressed with the size of the snack and the presentation

One – called Christine – fumed: “I’d rather starve.”

Hammer Bradley said: “I’m a West Ham fan and it’s a rip off over there, not like Upton Park days.”

Matt joked: “You get ripped off watching the game, so why not the food.”

John added: “I just wouldn’t buy it.

Although, some were a little bit intrigued.

The east London club has previously been blasted for charging £7.60 a pint of beer.

“That’s a bargain for that at a stadium. You must have felt like Christmas had come,” said Rian.

Max joked: “I’d pay four and a half American bucks for that. At least you got some bubbles.”

The Doritos Nachos were also on sale at the club’s opening day 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa and at the 1-0 league cup win over Bournemouth.

West Ham aren’t the only club to anger fans with their food options, as reported on What’s The Jam.

Chelsea have recently come under fire for serving up £7.50 masala potatoes despite having spent over £1billion since 2022.
