A former Premier League star has swapped football for fades after pursuing his dream of running a barbershop.
Ex-Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm made more than 100 appearances in England’s top flight before hanging up his gloves in 2020.
But rather than following the well-trodden path into coaching or punditry, the 42-year-old has walked away from the game to focus on business.

The Dutchman is now the proud co-owner of Maesons barbershop in Utrecht, Netherlands, as reported by What’s The Jam.
And the former League Cup winner has revealed he plans to turn the business into an empire by opening several more shops.
Vorm is also eyeing an investment in padel courts as the racket sport continues to boom.
According to Playskan Insights, the sport has grown in popularity by 70% over the past 12 months, with more than 1,000 courts opening across the UK.
Speaking to former club Tottenham Hotspur about life after football, Vorm said: “I am not involved in football per se.

“I have the barbershop, that’s still going strong.
“I’m planning to open a few more.
“I’m into padel courts, padel is so strong at the moment, massive in the UK.

“I’m also an ambassador for a diamond and watch company in Amsterdam. We do a lot in football.
“So, I still see and speak with a lot of players.”
Maesons has already proved popular with football stars, including players from Tottenham’s fierce North London rivals Arsenal.
Its barbers have cut the hair of Gunners stars including Declan Rice, Viktor Gyokeres and Mikel Merino.
Following Arsenal’s title-winning season, Maesons shared footage congratulating the club on its Premier League triumph.
The post stated: “A wonderful achievement from a great team with amazing athletes but most of all great guys.
“Special thanks to our friend Jurrien Timber for the trust and love to let MAESONS be a part of this special moment.”
