A bungling groundsman has been filmed painting the penalty box while a match was still going on.
He thought he was getting the pitch ready, but both teams had already kicked off.
He only noticed when play came towards him.

The clip is from SV Bohlingen II against SV Gailingen in southern Germany.
Bohlingen II won 4-3, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The game was played at 12.30pm on Saturday (19 Sep) in Kreisliga C Bodensee, a local amateur division around Lake Constance.
The groundsman started pushing a lining machine along the 18-yard box.
A television voiceover said he had clearly failed to notice the kick-off.

“He’s going over the lines of the 18-yard box and getting it ready.”
Then came the punchline: “Why are both teams already on the pitch?”
The groundsman sprinted off the turf, dragging the machine with him.

The narrator called it the oddest moment of the game.
Local reports said the groundsman was taken by surprise.
Neither club has issued a statement about the lining job.
Bohlingen II is the reserve side of SV Bohlingen 1949, a village club from Singen on the German shore of Lake Constance.
Gailingen sit just up the Rhine near the Swiss border.
