A football match was brought to a bizarre halt when a herd of cattle wandered onto the pitch.
The players quickly cleared the field as the animals casually made their way across the playing surface.
The teams were forced to wait for the cattle to be removed before they could resume the game, which took place in the state of Michoacán, Mexico, on Sunday (31 August), as reported by What’s The Jam.

Then came the unlikely hero – a dog that chased the entire herd off the field.
The four-legged pitch invader was arguably the real man of the match, clearing the way for the players to get back to the action.
With the animals eventually cleared, the players were able to return to the pitch and continue the match.
