Muhammad Ali’s former home has gone up for auction in California.
Nestled in the upmarket Hancock Park gated neighbourhood in Los Angeles, the mansion boasts seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, as well as a host of luxury features.
The stunning pad, which was previously listed for $13.5 million, sits on a 1.5-acre lot and covers 10,500-square-foot, with a 1,000-square-foot guesthouse next to it.

The famous boxer owned the home from 1979 to 1984, with neighbours at the time including Golden Age celebs Mae West, Clark Gable and Nat King Cole.
The listing, which features on What’s The Jam, is held by Concierge Auctions.
As of today (30 April), the current ask is $8 million and the current bid is $7,750,000, with bidding closing on 15 May.
Built in 1916 by John C. Austin – architect of the Griffith Observatory and LA’s City Hall – the estate “exudes charm and grandeur”.
A stained glass personally designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany tops a collection of priceless architectural features, including antique fireplaces, French Empire chandeliers, and imported Italian marble.

The property – which also featured on Top Ten Real Estate Deals – has park-like grounds including a swimming pool, lush lawns, a pergola terrace, stone fountains, and patios.
Widely regarded as the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali was named ‘Sportsman of the Century’ by Sports Illustrated in 1999.
The Kentucky native retired from boxing in 1979 – the year he purchased the estate – and died in 2016 aged 74.
