A former Etihad aeroplane has been converted into a luxurious overnight staycation spot – complete with fuselage bedrooms and cockpit-style kitchen.
The impressive stay, based in Tenby, West Wales, has gone viral on TikTok, with a video tour of it garnering 800,000 views.
The Airbus A320 – which was sourced Cardiff Airport – looks rather unsuspecting from the outside, but the interior has been totally transformed.

In a nod to its former use, the open-plan living space is crafted within the original fuselage, while kitchen is where the cockpit would go, with authentic features including operational cabin doors, Etihad and Air France branded storage, and aisle dolly trolleys still in place.
The toilet has been converted to include a shower, while the living area has plenty of natural light thanks to the 26 windows equipped with pull-down blinds, as well as the overhead compartment lights.
Outside, the aircraft’s front opens onto a deck with double-glazed windows and a glass door, leading to a west-facing outdoor area.
There is also an ‘Arabian Nights’ outdoor seating area with a desert mural, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The property is available to stay overnight from £199 per night and sleeps four guests, with three beds fitted inside.

“This aviation marvel has been thoughtfully converted into a self-contained sanctuary that retains its majestic air travel charm while introducing comforts and luxuries for a stay that’s anything but ordinary.”
