A cute kitten has joined the ranks at the Red Cross.
The helpful feline has become a symbol of joy and companionship for the institution’s staff members.
The adorable ball of fluff was rescued by Red Cross volunteers during a call-out and given a home at their headquarters.

It was named Urgencio – meaning Urgency in English.
The kitten brings smiles and warmth to workers at the Red Cross in Ciudad Victoria located south of Monterrey in Mexico.
The small feline found refuge in the facility and quickly won over the affection of doctors, paramedics, and administrators.

Since arriving, Urgencio has become inseparable from workers.
He is often seen wandering the halls to seek some attention.

And he accompanies volunteers during their breaks, helping to create a pleasant and light-hearted atmosphere.
As a result, workers have opened a TikTok page dedicated to the cute kitten and his role in the Red Cross, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The page, named ‘Urgencio Vic’, has quickly garnered 1,200 followers and over 45,000 reactions.

His pinned post is captioned: “Hello, I’m Urgencio, the newest member of the Mexican Red Cross in Ciudad Victoria.
“I am the most beloved.”
One local said: “How beautiful.”
