A woman who cancelled her own wedding after discovering her partner was allegedly cheating has decided to have a “non-wedding party” instead.
Rosa Lizbeth planned to marry her love this August.
After months of planning, she was left heartbroken after finding out he was reportedly two-timing her with someone she knows.

In the same week, she lost her job and had to move out of the house the pair shared together.
Despite what fate has served her, Rosa – who had already paid deposits for the upcoming nuptials – has decided not to cancel the event.
Instead, she plans to host a bash to celebrate herself not getting married and the start of a new chapter in her life.
And she’s charging guests to attend as well.
“I had already covered 80% of the value of the wedding and I was the one who paid the vast majority,” Rosa told What’s The Jam.

“But that didn’t make it any easier.
“I had been living with him for eight years and in a relationship for another three on top.
“I thought about what to do and I came up with three options.

“The first was to sell the entire event with a discount so that a couple could buy it from me.
“The second was to pay the remainder of the event and make my 30th birthday party that will be in October, start from August, and have the party then.
“And the third was to have a non-wedding party!”
After considering her choices, Rosa went with option number three.
She said: “I was listing the wedding plans at a big discount and I had some people interested in buying it but they wanted to pay a lot less.
“I then thought about my birthday party but since I [no longer had a job] I didn’t really want to spend any more money.
“Therefore I went for the third option, which was to have a pay-per-access party.”
The party is set to take place on 3 August from 9am to 2pm with a four-course meal, an open bar and live band.
The maximum amount of people allowed is 100.
Rosa has sold tickets to the ‘non-wedding’ – to be held at Las Pampas Eventos, Monterrey, Mexico – at £30 a pop.
She added: “It will be my son and I, plus the 100 guests.
“I am still having a party.”
