A super-fan mum has blown around £3,600 on Jellycat cuddly toys and is so hooked she’s had 20 teddy tattoos inked across her body.

Hannah Tynan has a whopping 250 plushies, proudly displayed on shelves in every single room of her home.

The 32-year-old’s obsession began at age 10 when she received her first Jellycat – a frog – and she says things have “exploded” in the last eight years after rediscovering the quirky soft toys as an adult.

The mum-of-one has forked out £3,600 on her growing hoard, with her priciest piece a £400 Fergus Frog.

“They’re littered all over my house,” Hannah, from Milford Haven, near Swansea, told What’s the Jam.

“Jellycats are in every room, on every shelf and in every nook.

“Guests are fascinated when they come over.

“They think it’s a lot, but it’s funky.

“I like them because it feels like it’s nurturing your inner child.

“I’m old enough to buy which ones I want, and it takes me back to my childhood.

“I love being at home with them, even at my big age.

“There’s a lot of buzz around them at the minute.”

Hannah, a tissue viability assistant, is especially obsessed with the brand’s playful Amuseables line – plush versions of everyday foods, drinks and objects.

Her passion runs so deep that she’s even taken the toys to the tattoo parlour.

Two years ago, she had her first Jellycat tattoo – the same frog as her first toy – and since then she’s added more across her legs, arms and chest, including a giant cheese Jellycat on her thigh.

Since then, she’s spent around £3,000 on Jellycat tattoos.

Hannah said: “I think I have the most Jellycat tattoos in the UK.

“They’re all over my body.

“I’ve spent at least £3,000 on tattoos.

Jellycat super fan mum with 250 plushies has spent £3600 on toys and £3000 on tattoos turning her home and body into a tribute to the cuddly brand she loves.

“The biggest is a cheese Jellycat on my thigh. That was £60.

“That took an hour. I love it. It wasn’t painful because I’m heavily tattooed, and it was definitely worth it.

“They’re permanent, so I get mixed opinions, but my friends and family love my tattoos.

“Jellycats are basically my whole personality now.”
