Sheffield Wednesday have angered Americans with a sorry-looking £5 Philly Cheesesteak.

The half time snack is being served up at the Championship club’s Hillsborough Stadium.

But one disgruntled fan shared the sarnie in which the meat patty appeared dry and the cheese was unmelted.

They snapped it up during The Owls 2-2 home draw against Bristol City last (22 Jan) night.

The Philly Cheesesteak is a beloved classic from the States.

It gets its name from the city of Philadelphia where it originated.

It is made with shredded beef steak peppers and onions, covered in melted cheese.

One fumed: “Proof that whatever Sheffield Wednesday is, it should be shut down.
