A glamorous gran, 72, who is mistaken for her daughter’s sister, has revealed her age-defying secret.
Lorraine Cassar, 72, turns heads wherever she goes due to her youthful appearance, with strangers convinced that she and her daughter, Sherree, 55, are siblings.
The retired carer swears by the basics, such as sunscreen, a cheap moisturiser, a healthy diet full of fruits and vegetables, and no sex.

“I use face sunscreen, a cheap basic drugstore moisturizers, and I don’t overcomplicate my skin care routine,” Lorraine, from Melbourne, Australia, told What’s the Jam.
“I eat lots of fruits and veggies, and not getting laid in 20 years has helped.

“I don’t really hang onto people complimenting me and saying I look younger because I don’t like too much attention.
“A waiter told me and my daughter could pass for siblings just the other day.
“It’s not the best compliment for Sherree because there’s an 18-year age gap.”

Lorraine’s granddaughter, Paris, 26, says her friends are always stunned when they find out her gran’s real age.
Paris added: “Anytime I introduce friends or colleagues to her, they’re always amazed, even when talking to her, cause she’s so young at heart and quick-witted.

“There have been so many times when people have assumed she’s my mum.

“It’s also nice to see that I’ll age gracefully.
“People will often say that my genetics are rock solid and to never worry about ageing, haha
“My grandma doesn’t just look young and beautiful, she exudes it in her attitude and kindness.
“She is an incredible inspiration, and I thank my lucky stars every day that she is my grandma and she is the matriarch of the most entertaining, charismatic, incredible family that I’ve been born into.
“She brought my mum into this world and shaped her and me as the courageous women we are today.”
