A couple have taken to TikTok to share how they got matching “his and hers” Turkey teeth for £3,700.
Kaya Louise and her partner, Jake Kilshaw from Chester, England, started looking into dental options abroad after realising neither of them were happy with their smiles.
Thirty-six-year-old Kaya’s were cracked, chipped and made her very self-conscious, while twenty-seven-year-old Jake had twisted teeth for a while but didn’t want to go through with braces.

When the duo found the option of going to Turkey to get veneers together, they jumped at it.
“I started to become very self-conscious of my teeth and it affected my smile,” Kaya, an aesthetics practitioner, told What’s The Jam.
“My teeth had chipped over the last year or so, they used to be very straight and they had become rounded and uneven.
“Jake really didn’t like his teeth.
“If anything he had healthy teeth and hadn’t ever needed a filling.

“But he was recommended a brace by his dentist due to some of his teeth being a little bit twisted.
“Personally, I loved his teeth, but he felt insecure about them.”
Kaya and Jake, a ground worker, found a place in Turkey that could fit both of their teeth for £1,500 and £2,200 respectively.

She said: “I knew it was exactly what I wanted.
“And Jake didn’t want to have to wait years for braces to work.”
They were told that Jake would have to get 22 crowns to correct the twisted teeth, and Kaya needed three bridges and six crowns.
The par booked their surgeries for December 2023 and have since shared the experience on TikTok.
She said: “It was nice to get it done together, because I was scared to go on my own.
“Some people I know have been alone, but I didn’t want to.
“It was nice to get away too, it was like a mini holiday.
“Because we stayed in a spa hotel it was a relaxing break”
Thankfully, despite some horror stories out there about so-called ‘Turkey teeth’, everything went smoothly.
She said: “The whole thing was great.
“The dentist staff were amazing.
“It doesn’t hurt to have them done as you are numbed before the work is started, but afterwards, they are complete.
“I absolutely love my teeth now, I chose the exact shape and size of every tooth so my teeth are exactly how I want them.
“My parents advised me not to go abroad, however, since seeing them [the teeth], they agree that they are lovely and they’re glad I got them done for myself.
“Jake loves his, too.”
Social media users have shared their thoughts, with many inspired to follow suit.
