A classic Ferrari that raced in Le Mans and Daytona is expected to sell for up to $10m (£7.4m).
The 1973 365 GTB/4 Daytona Competizione Series III is one of 15 in the ‘competition’ line, and is a further one of five in Series III.
It raced twice around the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1973 and 1974, and managed a first in class win and second overall during the 1979 24 hours of Daytona.

The racer was part of an authentic ‘no-expense-spared’ restoration, and was awarded the Enzo Ferrari award at Pebble Beach in 2024.
For $10m you can be the owner of a car steeped in race pedigree that was described by Le Man Winner Paul Frère as “a Grand Touring car par excellence”.
Each of the 15 Daytonas were purpose-built to contest long-distance endurance events at the highest level.
The final Series III cars were built for the 1973 season with subtle body revisions and significant mechanical upgrades, raising output to an impressive 450 hp at 8,500 rpm, as reported by What’s The Jam.
This means the car was capable of hitting over 170 mph and from 0–100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.

The listing is held by Gooding Christies and is available at their Pebble Beach auction.
The current auction estimate is $8m to $10m.
